Move to Nordics

Move to Nordics

THE IDEA

In order to attract more global talent to the region, the idea is to create a landing page with practical information about relocating to a Nordic country, highlighted job opportunities, upcoming European showcase events and a simple newsletter signup form. The platform uses existing data on all Nordic jobs that are relevant for European talent. In addition,  the project involves organizing showcases featuring Nordic startups, where this scene is not that well represented yet.

Join the Nordics

Join the Nordics

THE IDEA

Join the Nordics is meant to attract international tech talent to the Nordics. The idea is to create an ambassador network, where Nordic cities instead of competing against each other work together to attract talent from outside the region. Further, the project involves creating a Talent Committee. It will consist of ambassadors, who will act as an advisory board. They’ll consult pro bono local startups and companies within the Nordic regions on how to attract and retain foreign tech talents.

Best Place to Live

THE IDEA

The aim is to attract talent and interest from abroad by creating an interesting narrative using video campaign. By branding the Nordics as one region, it becomes more interesting for potential newcomers. Furthermore, the video can be used as a recruitment tool for Nordic startups looking to attract international talent.

Nordic Talent Ambassador

Nordic Talent Ambassador

THE IDEA

Nordic Talent Ambassadors is an innovative Nordic co-creation project. The first ever 15 Nordic talent ambassadors will be carefully selected and provided with training on telling about life and work in the Nordics. In practice, the ambassadors will do storytelling around the globe via social media to brand and communicate the career opportunities in the Nordics. The underlying idea is to present the region as one big career playing field and raise its appeal as a global talent destination, making the whole bigger than the sum of its parts.

Nordic.AI Roundtables

Nordic.AI Roundtables

THE IDEA

A series of “sprint” roundtables held at events to further the community building, marketing, PR, and internationalization of the AI ecosystem. Sprints are a framework for organizing diverse teams to tackle a problem, with the additional advantage of providing PR for participants by creating a policy agenda to promote. The “sprint” model of problem solving can quickly move from Nordic to international events, some of whom have already expressed interest. Themes tackled will be issues within the AI ecosystem, including better solutions to working with public data, talent attraction/acquisition, data sharing between startups and corporates, and fundraising.
