Nordic Roadshows 

THE IDEA

Nordic Roadshows helps Nordic companies raise funding, develop their businesses and get international investor coaching. The roadshows are organised three times a year in cooperation with the entrepreneurship societies around the whole Nordics. They gather the most promising startups and leading investors both from the Nordics as well as international. The aim is to make fundraising as easy and fast as possible. The organizers include Aalto Entrepreneurship Society, Excitera and Stardust-DTU.

Canute Startup Program

Canute Startup Program

THE IDEA

The Canute Startup program aim is to provide Nordic startups entering the UK with a network it would take them five months to build themselves. When starting in a new market, having the right network is the key. The Canute program will provide the Nordic startups with with valuable contacts on their mission to scale in the UK. The program is organized by The Danish Trade Council of UK and Ireland, Innovation Norway and Business Sweden.

Game Plan Asia

Game Plan Asia

THE IDEA

Game Plan Asia is showcasing Nordic Gaming companies in Asia. The Nordic initiative connects game companies with East Asian stakeholders, widen their network in the region, and learn more about market practices and other business acumen. The projects is organized by Spelplan-association Swedish Game Developers, Neogames Finland and Nordic Game Institute.

Sino Track

Sino Track

THE IDEA

Sino Track is a startup induction program, designed for Nordic companies that are interested in entering the Chinese market. The program offers a deep immersion into the Chinese market with themes such as market entry, legal and IPR issues, investment opportunities and marketing strategy. The program also provides companies with invaluable networking opportunities with local entrepreneurs and investors. The program will select 12-14 companies for the batch.

#NordicMade Showcase - West Coast US

A Nordic delegation of entrepreneurs, investors and community builders was brought to San Francisco to promote the Nordic startup scene and some of the most prominent startups of the region to US investors, media and industry professionals. Furthermore, the aim was to strengthen the ties between investors and startup community leaders in the Nordics.

VR-Resan

VR-resan 2017 is a joint Nordic initiative to strengthen the Nordic ecosystems around VR/AR, which established direct connections to the VR/AR ecosystems– and business opportunities in Asia. The trip consisted of visits to cities where the future of VR/AR is created, such as Shenzhen/Hong Kong, Beijing and Tokyo.

Accelerating Nordic Growth

Aaltoes, SUP46 and #CPHFTW organised multiple gatherings (6 in total) to Nordic startups that are interested to grow their business abroad, especially to American markets. To help these Nordic startups to grow to American markets we invited group of startups from the San Francisco Bay area that are founded and run by Nordic people. These “Nordic Bay” startups met these Nordic startups to hear their concerns and questions about scaling to US and to give insights, contacts and advices on how to succeed in the American markets.

#NordicMade NYC

The #NordicMade trip was arranged the first time in 2015 in New York and Tokyo respectively, to promote the dynamic Nordic startup ecosystem. The Nordic New York trip, and associated program, contributes to building closer links between the Nordic hubs, strengthen the cohesion between the countries, both on a Nordic level but also with an international mindset. It is also a great opportunity to connect the Nordic startup community with other relevant global startup hubs.
